What is Zumba? Zumba combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations that allow the Zumba participants to dance away their worries.

It is based on the principle that a workout should be FUN and EASY TO DO allowing Zumba participants to stick the Zumba Fitness program and achieving long-term health benefits. Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music-dance themes that create a dynamic, exiting and effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic / fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps. Zumba is a feel-happy workout that is great for both the body and the mind!

Zumba & Fitness Instructor

Born in Venezuela, raised by dance & Latin rythms, Alejandra is one of most recognized and loved Zumba instructors in Montreal. Her joy and soulful personality creates a connection to her students far beyond Dance and Fitness that sets her apart!

Her dance ability extends from her innate latin roots, to classic ballet and new trends. She has formal classical dance training and background and proudly performed with the Grands Ballets Canadiens for 5 years.

Wanting to incorporate her passion for dancing and teaching, she became a Certified Zumba Instructor 2008; and has acquired many other specialties through the years. She is also a certified Insanity and Piloxing instructor. She is an AAFA Certified Group Fitness Instructor, and continues to embrace, motivate and evolve with the exhilarating world of Fitness!

Her love for Dance and Fitness is evident in the joy it brings when she teaches it, as well as her new found love for Kizomba where she excels.

For Alejandra, Dance is not business, it’s personal. She is a powerful force who leads by example and who loves to share her passion for Dance and Fitness and its benefits for both body and mind!

Her classes will leave you smiling, energized and excitedly looking forward to your next experience!
